Children’s  Ministry

PURPOSE
Children’s Ministries is about developing the faith of children ages birth to fourteen. While Sabbath School provides for religious education once a week, Children’s Ministries looks at the whole child and seeks to, in cooperation with the home, provide multiple programs and activities geared towards leading children to Jesus and disciplining them in their daily walk with Him.

PROGRAM & ACTIVITIES
You child will experience an abundance of exciting, interactive, Bible based activities and learning, while he or she is involved in our Children’s Ministry programs at the Victory Seventh-day Adventist Church. Our programs and activities are open to children of Seventh-day Adventists, others of other faith and none thereof.  It is an opportunity for parents to take a breath to relax, get involved and concentrate on the adult programs or activities. As you worship with us, you can do so knowing your child is safe and secure having fun, meeting new friends & discovering more about God’s Word and His wonderful love for each child.

OUR VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers work lovingly and hard at creating an atmosphere of friendship, love for God and each person. Our volunteers receive excellent training and thorough background checks to ensure your child’s safety. Your child will not only engage in programs and activities, during worship sessions but also at our extracurricular activities. The goal of these these activates and programs  are to help your child realize how much Jesus loves them; begin at these early ages to form a growing relationship with Christ, learn the importance of self-respect and respect for others and building sound characters.

AGES
Programs and activities are age specific so kids can interact with other kids their own age and learn in a way that connects with them. In our lower division programs our intentional small groups help kids make real & lasting friendships. Our worship hour small groups are (operational during our Saturday worship time) i. BEGINNER (AGES BIRTH-2), ii. KINDERGARTEN (AGES 3-4), iii. KINDERGARTEN (AGES 5-9).
Extracurricular   programs include our Adventurers and Pathfinder programs which are operated outside of our Saturday (Sabbath) programs.

AN INVITATION
Stop by whenever you can. Our desire when you worship with us or decide to involve your child into any of our children’s ministry programs is to always cause you and your child to feel loved, secure, excited about loving God and building lasting friendship., exciting & secure environment.

God Loves Your Child. Help them Love Him Also!

The Bible makes it very clear that children are very special to God. If you examine what the Bible says about children, you will notice a great number of perspectives:

  • Children are a gift from God. He gives children to parents as special sign of love and personal fulfillment (Deut. 7:13Ps. 127:3).
  • Children are desirable. From creation, God has instructed us to bear children (Gen. 9:7Deut. 6:3).
  • Children bring joy and blessings to adults. God provides many benefits to parents through parenting their children (Num 5:28Deut. 28:4,11).
  • Children need to be taught how to develop a relation with God. One of our greatest challenges is to pass on our beliefs and understanding of God to our children (Exod. 12:26,37Deut. 6:1-7Prov. 22:6).
  • Children are so valuable to God that He commands us to protect them. Parent are to ensure the spiritual and physical security of their children (1 Sam. 20:42😉
